Jubilee / Japanese Breakfast Concert - Ep. 69
Thursday Jul 14, 2022
Thursday Jul 14, 2022
With the second week of shitty album releases, Ehren and Simon had to get creative. Listen this week as we stay somewhat topical (at least in Minnesota) as we review Japanese Breakfast's Minneapolis tour stop and then dive straight into an album review of the album that inspired the tour, Jubilee. Did either of them buy merch? What flavors inspired the evening? And what leaders did Ehren call phonies? You'll have to tune in to find out.

Thursday Jul 07, 2022
If you had a gun to your head and were forced to listen to Imagine Dragon's latest album, would you? Of course not. And that's why we went back into the catalog of recent releases and decided to tour the eclectic collection of songs within Harry Styles' latest album, Harry's House. We're going song-by-song for this one, so get ready for something a little different this week. Let us know what you think of this special format and if you'd like to see more of it!

Gay Wrath Month is upon us, but that doesn't mean we can't recap our Pride Weekends and review what could be the queerest album of Pride Month!!! It's our podcast, NOT YOURS! If you want to hear our actual review of the album, you may need to skip the first 40ish minutes, but we promise that we pull a degrassi and we go there. What did Ehren, Simon, and special guest of the pod Chris Vaughn do this weekend and what the heck did they think of MUNA's latest album??? Tune in to find out.

How To Let Go ft. Carl Dennis - Ep. 64
Thursday May 12, 2022
Thursday May 12, 2022
So many new albums this week to choose from, but a choice had to be made and this week it was Sigrid, with her sophomore album, "How To Let Go". We may or may not have had less than 48 hours with this album, and only gave podcast guest, Carl Dennis less than 7 hours, but we still found a way to give this album a definitive Bop or Flop rating. Tune in for that review, but also the charity event Simon was at last weekend, our Uber/Lyft ratings, and Ehren goes on a rant about which place he LEAST wants to have a conversation. Tune in and you like what you hear, give us 5 stars.

Wet Tennis ft. Tina Ayodele - Ep. 63
Thursday May 05, 2022
Thursday May 05, 2022
You've been manifesting it and it's finally here: our Wet Tennis album review. Listen along as special guest, Tina Ayodele (also known as DJ TNA), Ehren, and Simon take a trip down SOFI TUKKER's intersection of Portuguese Jazz and Dance music to decide if the album is worth of bop status, or if it may have fallen flat as a flop. We may also discuss big city aspirations, owning houses, and give a quick review of The Knocks' latest album and Gaga's new single.... but you won't know for sure unless you tune in.

Thursday Apr 28, 2022
Take a leap, take a chance, and tune into this fun new episode of Bop or Flop where we take a turn from our normal formula and instead of reviewing an album, we review Lorde's Solar Power Tour concert at the Armory in Minneapolis, MN. Do we give the concert a bop or a flop? You'll have to tune into the episode to find out and probably so much you weren't expecting us to talk about too.
